Weld-On Grab Hooks (weldable grab hooks) are designed not for use in lifting application, but to be welded onto tractor buckets or trailers for a quick and easy chain attachment point. The working load limit of each type forged weld on grab hook is different due to different weight bearing capabilities. The higher the weight, the heavier it could bearing.Considering the application of weld on grab hooks, such products are always produced in steel forging. Our forging process could increase the strength of grab hooks, which is not available in casting.

1) Materials: carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, tool steel, etc. Customer's drawings are accepted

2) Main equipment:1T/2T/5T Drop forging equipment,1600T/1000T/630T/280T Grinding pressure equiment,3150T hydraulic forging press, CNC-machine, machine-center

3) Surface treatment: After forging, we can do machining, polishing, oiled (rust-proof), zinc, nickel, chrome plating, hot galvanized, painted.

4)Suitable for: These products are for the power generation industry, pressure vessels, components for commercial nuclear reactors, press components,  mining equipment components,  marine propulsion shafting, heavy construction machine, agricultural machine, Plastic Extrusion Equipment and custom forgings.

5) Process: mould forging (free drop forging or hot forging) – Normalizing & Tempering – Proof Machining- Quenching & Tempering. We can offer you in various process conditions.

6) Material & mechanical properties & heat treatment: according to your requirements. The material we usually used for such parts are: 34CrMo4,42CrMo4,20NiCrMo2,AISI 4340,AISI 4140,AISI 8630,S355J2G3,1045#, 20#,H13, etc. All the materials are according to GB, JIS, ISO, ANSI, ASTM, BS, DIN, etc., which can meet the ISO9001-2008 quality control and inspection

Shipping Terms 

Package: Inner packing with strong plastic bag, carton box outside and iron box to protect it finally. Packing dimension would be according to the products dimension and quantity.

Lead Time: Aprrox.30days open mould, approx. 30-35days produce time.
